My Joyful Wisdom

Chapter 4 / 25, 6 min read

It always starts small. Someone replied late. Someone looked away while talking. Someone's tone felt a little cold.

The logical mind says, "Nothing happened." But the body says something else. A slight heaviness in the chest. The breath rises a little. This reaction is not about this moment — it is the memory of some older moment stored in the body.

Right now, someone may be reading this who lost their job yesterday. Or someone who was hurt so badly by a person they trusted that they can’t see a way ahead. At 2 a.m., when they can’t tell anyone, this library is open for them.

It keeps going because someone else — someone having a slightly better day — quietly stands beside them. Your small gift carries the next book to a stranger who may need it more than anything.
