My Joyful Wisdom

Chapter 1 / 25, 3 min read

Why are you here?

Before you start reading, understand what this place is about — and whether it is even for you.

Pause for a moment. Before you start reading, ask yourself one plain question — why are you here?

If you are hoping that a single line will calm your mind, or that you will find some magic technique that fixes everything — this place may disappoint you a little. There is nothing like that here.

This book is not here just to make you feel good. It is here to help you see. To see yourself.

What you read will land differently

In some places you will think, “This is exactly my story.” In some places there will be discomfort — you will want to turn the page or close the tab. In some places you will wonder whether you simply think too much. And somewhere — for the first time — something that was blurry until now will become clear.

All of these reactions are normal. In fact, that is the whole point.

What is not here

This is not a “7 steps to happiness” list. It is not a prescription to fix your problems. It will not motivate you to become “strong” either.

It does one small thing — and that one thing is real.

It brings the emotional patterns running quietly inside you up to the surface. Things about yourself that have not made sense so far may slowly start to become clear.

One more thing

You are not here to take on a new identity — “I am healed now,” “I am aware now.” And you are not here to defend the old one either — “I have always been like this.”

You are here to do one thing: be honest with yourself. Without running.

If that honesty holds, something will slowly happen — you will start to see your emotions clearly for the first time. And when things are seen clearly, change starts to come on its own. It takes less effort than you think.

Pause and reflect: If I tell myself the truth — did I come here to be fixed, or to see myself?

Right now, someone may be reading this who lost their job yesterday. Or someone who was hurt so badly by a person they trusted that they can’t see a way ahead. At 2 a.m., when they can’t tell anyone, this library is open for them.

It keeps going because someone else — someone having a slightly better day — quietly stands beside them. Your small gift carries the next book to a stranger who may need it more than anything.

Stand with someone Choose your amount

If you’re struggling yourself right now, please don’t give anything. Just read. This place was made for you.
